Green Guard Nature Organization, in collaboration with Sanctuary Asia observed Earth Day 2013 at the Loyola English Medium High School, Nagaon town & Jasodadevi Gosami Girls High School, Chapanala, Nagaon, in the presence of the respective teachers and Forest staff. Besides interactive talks by Green Guard members, two films, 'She's Alive' & 'The Himalayan Meltdown' were shown to the students. The students of the later were in for a special treat as we showed them a Chinese Pangolin, which was rescued from certain death last night after a team of our members raided the house of a local villager. The Earth Day was made truly memorable by the release of the scaly anteater in its natural habitat in the presence of forest staff. Copies of Sanctuary Asia were also distributed.
