A Nature Awareness Drama with special focus on Man-Animal conflict was staged by members of Green Guard Nature Organization and local villagers at Lungsung Puja Mandap on the occasion of Mahanavami Durga Puja yesterday. The drama was scripted, directed and produced by Sanctuary Asia Tiger Defender Dulu Bora. The audience of around 1000 belonging to fringe forest communities took a vow at the end of the show to desist from killing wildlife and stop habitat destruction in the species rich Karbi foothills. These villages are affected by intense Human-Elephant Conflict and the drama dwelt on the various issues revolving around elephant depredation in these areas.
